       i guess part of the reason for me to discontinue Melted Moon and start a solo project (which it de-facto has been for a while) is that my performance gameboys have been stolen at #37c3.if anyone ever spots one of these, let me know.

       @steeph@queerchen.de Melted Moon was the name of the band i made gameboy music with. were most active around 10 years ago, had gigs all across europe, released two albums with a record label, were booked and endorsed by nintendo and everything, huge festivals, etc etc.Another gameboy i had (which is now in the possession of another band member) fitted with MIDI in and out (yes, this works), there's a video where i hooked it up to a drum synth, and i really want to mod another one with that and hook up a Midibox SID to it. There's so many fun things that can be done to a gameboy... Sadly, a modded gameboy is of course a very fancy thing to slip into your pockett if left unattended for a second... In that moment, it doesn't matter that installing these mods is work or that i paid an artist lots of money to paint that case... These weren't just gameboys, they were musical instruments that have seen crowds of tens of thousands.

       @puniko@mk.absturztau.be @Erpel@hai.z0ne.social die haben mittlerweile oft so nen service wo sie ne Erinnerungs-SMS schicken, und sind auch bei bisschen verzögerung noch kulant, weil die checken dass ADHS unter den Nutzer*innen keine Seltenheit ist :)

       the mayor (an old right wing cop dude) said there will be no communal pride flags this june (this was a tradition, but the new mayor wants culture war instead). this wasn't even public (one of the csd organizers has forwarded that) and i have managed to get enough people involved to create a shitstorm from within the town hall even though i'm not even in there, with several parties jumping in, the phones in the offices are running hot, mailboxes probably full (i also sent one of course), everyone is angry about that decision. no justice, no peace, bro, i may not have won the mandate, but i'll still be that horrible pain in his ass he has to live with now. all it takes is forwarding messages to the right people and things will end up in the newspaper, and i haven't even started getting the more "passionate" activists involved (though that is also beginning to happen right now).this year's pride is going to be very political.
