@stux Today I searched a search engine for how to do something, ignored the AI Overview and clicked on the top result for the official documentation.The official documentation, instead of telling me how to do the thing, told me to open Copilot and gave me a prompt to type to find the answer. THE OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION DID NOT HAVE THE ANSWER.THE OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION GAVE ME A PROMPT TO ASK AN LLM.💀 💀 💀 How do we train the LLMs if the documentation tells me to ask an LLM. 😆 😭

@liaizon I connected via the UK (vpn) and it says its not available. I guess its not a region thing and they just dont have it online.NRK (norway's BBC) do this too. They seem to just host stuff for a period of time, then it disappears, then they randomly* bring it back.* there is probably a good reason for this, but I do not know it

@stux Concentration of users is one thing but then I'm also concerned that because .social and .online have disabled the live feeds, they won't understand or see the value of them. The local feed is super valuable for me, running a regional instance for an audience with a different language than English, but it's hidden away in the app. And I'm a little concerned that so long as the Mastodon team are mostly using the product on .social they won't really understand the needs.

@gamingonlinux Hate to be the party pooper here; but Microsoft has two Copilot products: one for business and one for consumer. One is provided as an AI productivity tool as part of the Microsoft 365 suite and the other is a public version that anyone with a public Microsoft account can access for "entertainment" purposes. One thing you can count on Microsoft for is confusing naming and marketing of it's products. :pepe_cool:

I just spent ages trying to get around TV2's detection of VPNs so I could "appear" to be in Norway 🇳🇴 and stream tonight's game whilst in Italy 🇮🇹Then I tried searching the web for solutions. Turns out you can use TV2 Play anywhere in the EEA / EU 🇪🇺 without the need for a VPN. 🫠Now I've just got to figure out why a simple Chromecast from my Google Android phone to a Google Android TV doesn't work. 💀#WorldCup #FIFAWorldCup #Television #TV2 #Allheimen #Ballheimen #Football #Sports

@quad This could be the answer, but is it likely that my phone would see the option "Android TV" and then I press it and... nothing happens on either device. The icon on my phone changes to a loading icon for a few seconds and then just returns to it's prior state. What do you think?

@quad Yes. Does the same with every app. But it could be any number of things wrong; cheap TV? old Android version? WiFi configuration? Etc.
