       @MK2boogaloo This is a really odd one to parse without actually knowing the parties.On the one hand the guy might have been really proud of the work he did even if it wasn't “professional” level.On the other, it's hard to say OP did anything malicious and if he's upset he should say so.A simple conversation would solve so much and neither of them seem like they're going to have it.

       @MK2boogaloo That seems a bit much. You need to establish boundaries. And maybe that's what this moment should have been. The boyfriend saying some version of “this thing that you did hurt me and here's why.” But again, it seems that the root of the problem here is that neither of them are going to have that conversation so this and a thousand other cuts can fester, and eventually kill them both. :cirnoShrug:

       @MK2boogaloo I have one of the big cases in the second picture. It came with a Pentium 4 board in it that I upgraded to some sort of Athlon. It's a great server case.

       @MK2boogaloo Too many.A main PC I use for work, a small collection of vintage machines, and a few odds and ends that are basically project boxes now. A few had been various iterations of a media machine.You?

       @MK2boogaloo I do also have a Thinkpad for work on the go.It's getting a bit old and so the battery isn't holding a charge as well as it once did. Still can last the whole day without wall power most of the time. It's going to be a pain to replace because so few laptops now seem to have any repair or upgrade path.

       @MK2boogaloo That is always the challenge of those systems. Getting a clean copy so you feel like you can move is a pain.And with the price of drives just installing to a new drive and copying from the old is becoming a so painful proposition.
