       @RickiTarr Mastodon is by far the best. Most of us would be kicked off of twitter by now, myself included as I don't walk softly criticizing the republicans and their star players (Trump and DeFascist).There are so many cool people here, even when we disagree, it's in a nice way, with no trash talking.Freedom of speech is what we are all about here. No Ads, no BS period.And to top it all off, this place is a lot of fun.I haven't read and written so much in years, Thanks Mastodon. 😀

       Take a trip back a few years and watch the movie Billy Jack. I saw it when it came out in theatres in '71.There is so much in it that pertains with what is still going on in society today.It's about the #environment #racism #underdogs #victims #heroes  #injusticeand so much more.It's easy to see the #Republican attitudes of the 70's and  the similarities of today's #Republicans.#Racism was as ugly then as it is now.The changes we wanted never came true for us.        As the #republicans continue to broadcast their lies and disinformation, I realize that I am just as angry at our government now as I was in the late 60's, early 70's.We went to protests with the energy of diesel locomotives to express our hatred for war and the corruption in politics.I feel sad because we are still fighting that fight now 😢 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙑𝙊𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙂!Please vote at every level of government and destroy the #Republicans at the polls.😡

       @rolle I was never much of a social media person, never had a facebook or twit account but was a bit interested.I think when twitter was crashing in 2022 I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I came across Mastodon and liked what I read about it so I opened an account.Now I am a regular reader and post almost everyday. Most of the people I meet here are really cool and the trolls are blocked with one easy click.Mast got me reading, writing and thinking again, I'm grateful for that.
