       @stellarskylark@solarpunk.moe I hate to say this, but what you're likely describing (from what I can tell) is playing mp3 files by album with randomization for the album.

       @stellarskylark@solarpunk.moe It would take work, but you can do all of that by making playlists of files that are more or less groups of songs, then randomizing them. I do this in my car.
