Also, bridging to #XMPP  would be really appreciated.As others noted, we're returning to 1999/2000, when I had to run AIM, MSN chat, Yahoo chat, ICQ, and more just to reach all my contacts. Only GAIM / Pidgin and Trillium aren't the answer this time.

       @lain I think President Clinton was in his middle 40s when he first got elected. GW Bush was in his middle 50s. I think Obama was in his late 40s. It's just subsequent presidents who've rivalled the ages of old Soviet leaders.

       @sun I think every major country or bloc of countries has their own standard for electric outlets (also for EMF [voltage], current [amperage], and frequency [Hertz]). There are adapters that can do some conversion, but I have no idea whether the current would stay in the approved ranges) when voltage is converted.

       Alumni association started inviting me to monthly Zoom meetings. Everything (request link, decline invitation, unsubscribe from e-mails) is behind tracking links. They rarely have a guest or topic I'd be interested in anyway, and it has been decades since I've had contact with any of my former classmates.

       @lain The books were good, but there's no way I could sit through the movies. Even with good movies, I'm checking my watch by 85 minutes and wondering why they don't get to the point.
