Einen Kommentar konnte ich mir heute im Team-Meeting nicht verkneifen, als ein Kollege erzählt hat, dass er jetzt sein erstes Paper schreibt und es ja zum Glück LLMs gibt. Mein Kommentar: "Ich bin froh, dass ich gelernt habe Paper zu schreiben, bevor es LLMs gab."

I just noticed that I have to give a talk in our team meeting on Wednesday. I don't have anything right now worth talking about. But as my professor would be disappointed if I didn't give a talk I will spend tomorrow afternoon on creating a talk on a paper I recently coauthored instead of investing my time in useful work. I hate being forced to do stuff which I think isn't useful at all.

Perfekt wären 2cm kürzere Füße, aber selbst 1,4cm kürzere Füße würde das Angebot an Schuhen schon deutlich erweitern.

Students sometimes have interesting questions. Today in the Computer Networks exercise a student asked why we need to specify the host in a GET request if we know the IP address of the host. I made an educated guess and luckily I was right.

@focaccina So, here's the answer. There might be multiple domains sharing the same IP address as they are all hosted on the same server and the reverse proxy handling all incoming traffic needs a way to decide to which domain it needs to forward the request.
