       @EUCommission Regulating the business model of big tech social media, particularly targeted advertising and algorithmic manipulation, is much more difficult. Why not remove the incentives for platforms to maximize engagement through outrage or addictive algorithms? The answer is that it takes courage.

       @openpetition is thus clearly ahead of other platforms, such as @campact, which, while eagerly mobilizing for their campaigns here, don’t even display the Mastodon logo on their site. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters who have helped the #Fediverse spread further.
