       @azonenberg PDM mics are quite common these days. I think you could just put a hard low pass on the output at a below audible cutoff and take the DC value to get average amplitude and derive power from that. You'd have to prove the filter design and sampling hardware couldn't still pull anything out but it'd get you most of the way there I reckon.

       @azonenberg I've never heard anyone refer to internal structured cabling as 'dark fibre'. The term is more generally used to refer to OSP fibre that is leased 'dark' (as in the lessee is responsible for lighting it, as opposed to a lit service like a wavelength through the providers OTN) regardless of whether it is actually lit or not.

       I've published usbd-uac2, my USB Audio Class 2.0 implementation, along with working examples for LPC55S28.Still could use some refinement, but a working, stable UAC2 implementation that can do 96k/32 is something I've been chasing for a long time.#rust #embedded

       @azonenberg Try "outlet metered", usually it's some variant on that. Some brands have a different word for "metered and switched outlets", I think Eaton calls this "managed".Check out Raritan PX3-5145R or Eaton EMAT08-10.
