       Hypothisis:You need exactly 3 programming languages1. Close-to-the metal, expressive and performant. (Zig)2. Convenient high-level, automatic memory management, safe for untrusted input. (Janet?)3. Language for bootstrapping 1 (Forth?)Bootstraping zig could maybe be building janet with tinycc, and writing a zig interpreter in janet?Initially i was rooting for #roclang for 2, but i'm sad to say that they seem to have embraced the slop to such an extent that i'm not feeling like investing in the ecosystem at all.        @mntmn Very much feel you on taking this as a push to level up!Dealing with quite some sloppery at $DAYJOB, and i have really gone hard on incorporating code review in emacs. (basically checking out two branches locally, and diffing them, with goto-definition and goodies enabled)It's been less and less possible to actually use github for reviewing code, since there's just so much of it, and you always have to manually check if it's not duplicating something that's already there.
