If your LC friend continues to go around maskless and you think that's okay, while simultaneously saying that maskless people aren't leftists (hmmm), you've got a whole society full of maskless plague spreaders who'd take her and your side.My stance that masklessness and Covid denial is immoral is the courageous one that's challenging to take.There are people who discover they have LC, regret their prior masklessness, and change.There are people (unfortunately, the majority) who discover they have LC and yet bafflingly continue to go around maskless.There are people who get infected due to no fault of their own- emergency medical care while there's no infection control, minimum wage workers forced to be unmasked at their job, Covid cautious people stuck living with Covid reckless people.Your comments last year didn't indicate that your LC friend was infected due to factors beyond her control.My Covid safe communities are full of people with LC. They are all in the "I made a mistake but now I always mask" or "factors beyond one's control" categories.Someone with LC who goes dining inside of restaurants or posts maskless photos from indoor public spaces fully deserves scorn. Covid cautious people with LC, the people I ally with, scorn them. And it's embarrassing that one wouldn't do a few minutes of internet research to learn that baggy blue surgicals won't cut it, and embarrassing how often people think having their respirator mask off at any point is somehow okay.I'm sick and tired of the Covid spaces that are angrier at someone who's angry at the maskless than at the maskless.Everything you said last year indicated that the person doesn't wear a respirator consistently. My relationships with my friends who have LC would be completely different if what you claim about me was true.

This is outrageous. And I highly recommend that people do what I do...GrapheneOS instead of vanilla Android (LineageOS if you have a non-Pixel Android phone).Vivaldi (Chromium engine), LibreWolf (Firefox engine).Certain Linux distros instead of Windows. I am using Kubuntu as my "daily driver," but I'm preparing to migrate to Gentoo because Canonical (Ubuntu) wants to push Gen AI, and Gentoo is the only major Linux distro so far to take an official anti Gen AI stance.
