There are so many issues and the information available is frankly of an extremely low quality, especially on Twitter.On one hand we respect the wake-up call, on the other we behave like techbros by saying this.[2] “I” refers here to my person as an abstraction. Not a revolution, not even progress, but a slimmed down version of a toxic POS social media platform.Like, believe me, I was installing Linux on my first computer, in 2014. I’ve stayed focused on learning software development for the last 19 years. I just got a belated, incomplete sociology master thesis featuring literate programming rejected, due to, frankly, weird andragogic technicalities.If you think you’re more committed than I am to the Linux ecosystem: you’re wrong. But delusion won’t improve the alternatives.
