https://reform.debian.net has been updated for Debian Trixie and needs more testing to iron out the remaining bugs before the official release of Debian :debian: Trixie. If you own a MNT classic Reform or MNT Pocket Reform you can help by testing the full system images 💾, Debian Live 💿, Debian Installer 🥾, the repository 📦 and Grml 🛟 and send bug reports (maybe with a patch against the respective git repository?) to josch@debian.org to the Debian BTS or to the issue tracker on salsa. @mntmn The Debian packaging for 5.0.1 was pushed to this MR five days ago: https://salsa.debian.org/multimedia-team/blender/-/merge_requests/10#note_731729If you are in a rush we could use this to build a blender 5.0.1 Debian package in a reform-debian-packages branch before the MR on Debian salsa gets merged and uploaded to unstable.

@mntmn You keep posting fastfetch screenshots. Maybe reform-system-image should install a default config with colors that better fit the MNT color scheme? Also, hyfetch can make use of fastfetch data using --backend fastfetch and might have some color presets you could find interesting (see the --preset option)

My RK3588 #MNT classic Reform just arrived back from repair. As usual, their shipping box fits perfectly into an Eurobox. Very satisfying! Even more satisfying was what I found inside the box: this looks like new or can you spot that anything got replaced after I fried my LTC chip? Even my poor soldering of D30 seems to have been magically fixed up? And there is a new WiFi antenna! Thank you so much for your work @liaizon ♥️ I hope I'm not missing any of the things you fixed up with my machine?

Context of the repair was that I broke my mainboard when I experimented with fitting the MNT Pocket Reform headphone/switch board into the classic Reform case. My goal was to also have in the RK3588 classic Reform something I am enjoying in my RK3588 Pocket Reform and A311d classic Reform: Bluetooth without a USB dongle. Unfortunately, I'm clumsy and my fingers don't work well anymore (lost lots of sensitivity due to multiple sclerosis) and I got magic smoke when I connected the batteries back.

Current #Debian :debian: yak 🦬 shave: for #Hurd support in mmdebstrap I want testcases. To run Hurd tests on Linux I need to build a QEMU VM. I do this with debvm which needs support for Hurd but to get that we need DPKG_ROOT support in systemd (and pam, sudo, ucf). But to implement that we need a systemd-tmpfiles implementation for non-Linux. seedfiles is such an implementation and its maintainer has been extremely helpful with making this happen. Dear #fedihelp what do you use to slap a signature.png onto a #PDF I usually open the PDF in #inkscape and then import my signature.png and move and resize it accordingly. But using inkscape for this is complete overkill and it takes long to load. Using "pdftk stamp" is much faster but I can no longer easily move and resize my signature as needed. Is there a light weight piece of software that does this?In case there is not, which GUI toolkit has support for move and resize handles in a canvas?

@meluzzy Resetting the LPC or disconnecting and reconnecting the batteries (which also resets LPC) makes the LPC loose the current battery status. To get it back, leave your reform plugged in on AC and wait until the batteries should be full in a few hours. Once the charger finished balancing the batteries at 100% the display should switch from ???% to 100%. Or did you already try leaving the reform plugged in for a while? @mntmn i somehow do not find this explained in the handbook?
