       So people are doing #introductions, given the recent events at the Birdcage? Not a bad idea, I gather.So here's mine. I blog, I write, I rewrite, I publish, I keep an eye on things I'm interested in and I post about them; mostly literature, science fiction, politics and other relevant stuff.I will be using this thing in English and in Portuguese, mostly. Maybe a toot or two in other languages as well, as I speak 3 more with different degrees of proficiency.And that's it, I guess.

       Hey, guys 'n' gals.So I've created a Friendica account, which I'll be using for long form stuff, i.e., stuff for which a mastodon thread would be needed.If you wish to follow, it's at https://venera.social/profile/jorgecandeiasBut usually I'll be boosting its stuff here, so it's probably a bit redundant...However, when my main account fails for some reason, I'll use it as a normal fediverse backup, in which case most boosts won't happen.
