       @mntmn I'm convinced that creative reuse of existing hardware is going to (have to) be more and more of a thing in the next few years. Whether that's making better use of older machines, using phones in lieu of desktops (more and more Android phones are getting that ability now and it's been improving)... Maybe lapdocks will actually start to catch on? They don't need a CPU or memory after all

       @civodul Ooh, exciting!I wonder if someday it could be possible to evaluate channel code in sandboxes as well, so trusting a channel becomes less of a concern. But I know that gets a lot more complicated than evaluating only the channel file itself in a sandbox

       @mntmn It'd be really cool if The Verge reviewed it, but they might also weight the price/performance ratio pretty strongly against the big-name manufacturers. I remember they did spotlight the Pocket in a short a while back though

       @mntmn MNT lapdock module for plugging an external mobile device into an MNT chassis? Tough market though because the competition (NexDock et al) is very cheap (~$200) and it's very much a nicheThere are basically no lapdocks with high-quality peripherals though. Maybe because people wouldn't pay for it, idk
