       In line at the grocery store, the shopper ahead of me was a young lady with a child. She paid w/ several cards, including a WIC card. I have read that people who get food assistance have to deal with harassment from other shoppers, especially when they have to suffer the inconvenience of a few extra minutes in line.So I waited patiently for her to finish, did nothing to suggest I was impatient or grumpy. Soon she was done and I was on my way.It’s really not that hard to not be an asshole.

       Had an appointment for a long phone interview with our local Social Security office. They called at the appointed time, but realized at the start that the appointment was somehow made incorrectly on their end, so he needed to reschedule for tomorrow morning. Thanks, idiots!
