       China's single time zone demonstrates that people will adapt to whatever numbers are on the clock. I mildly prefer year round Standard Time just because it's closer to Solar Time, but that's because of my niche interests. Most people do not care about that. They very much do care about not having to dick with clocks twice a year and suffer from stationary jet lag. Year round Standard Time, year round Daylight Time, world-wide GMT - all would be fine. Stop messing with clocks!

       @dangillmor This is a misunderstanding of the problem. USPS is not preparing to stop delivery of completed ballots to the county. They are preparing to stop delivery of blank ballots to you. You won't have a ballot to drop in a drop box. And if you go to vote in person, they will tell you that they mailed you a ballot and unless you turn it in, you can only cast a provisional ballot which most likely will never be counted.
