       #IntroductionHello all, I'm a #technologist in #NorthCarolina.  I am #retired from a career in #IT but, I still do some side work from time-to-time.  I have always been a huge fan of #FOSS and run several #Linux machines including my #HomeLab media server running #Unraid.  I prefer my TVs dumb with a #MiniPC or #SBC attached running #Kodi (#LibreELEC).1/3

       @mwl ikr. I have rolling shelves in my garage that could rival a convenience store.After 9/11, Katrina, and Covid I learned you can only count on yourself (at least for the first few months).

       @alfiekohn It would not surprise me if one day soon #selfhosting is targeted. I can see trying to buy a handful of 20TB drives and having to answer questions like I'm trying to buy two bottles of NyQuil.
