       @eff It's not about "protecting the children," it's about keeping track of you online. I cannot understand the party of "background checks for guns are an invasion of privacy" being ok with giving over their ID to Discord or PornHub.There are other, more effective, ways, with less privacy risk, of limiting access to things for minors (I'm not necessarily in favor of that to begin with, but that's a different topic) without giving your ID over to a website which will definitely be breached.

       I've come to really dislike things that do fuzzy matching even with "quoted" search terms. (Looking at you, Gmail.) It can be a useful tool, but to force it everywhere is very frustrating.

       @mwl @rl_dane @ed1confI have a dream of getting to meet you at BSDCan or something and asking if you would sign it :) I was in a phase of just getting electronic copies when it first came out, and also for whatever quirk of my firmware I prefer hardbacks for signing over paperback.
