       I think my favorite thing about #mastodon is the #FederatedTimeline where I can watch this whole, beautiful, gigantic world of people expressing their individual lives in many languages and scripts,  in real time.  It's magic.

       @michaelrpowell Hang in there.  Follow folks.  There aren't any algorithms driving accounts into your timeline here.  No algorithms trying to tweak your dopamine receptors either.  So it's intentional.  Follow accounts that interest you.  But it's a coop, of a sort.  So learn the group's rules and norms and you'll love it here.#Mastodon

       Alright I just had a thought. Weird but hear me out. What if this is the crisis that needed to happen? Because it will get us off fossil fuels sooner? I mean horrific, obviously!! So much harm.  But what amount of pain and suffering are we looking at down the road if we keep burning fossil fuels like we have been? I mean, we know this fuel crisis will be really, really bad. Anyway it's going to be what it'll be but don't despair. Things happen for a reason. It'll be OK. #Climate #Iran

       @dangillmor I am going to amplify this story every time I see it because this isn't funny (obviously these Trump family idiots are never not funny) but more importantly, it's dangerous. I assume that mobbed up Putin pal is there as a threat.
