       @thephd @pinskia Automake should generate rules to automatically regenerate those files when you invoke "make".You might have to pass --enable-maintainer-mode to configure to activate them if the project has used AM_MAINTAINER_MODE in their configure script.

       @ariadne setuid binaries are the simplest exploit vector. But if you can poison the page cache for something a higher privilege user is going to call soon (e.g. a cron job or timer), presumably that could be an exploit vector.

       @ariadne @ryan I've never managed to get wifi calling to work over a second SIM's data. I'm assuming that's something that needs to be properly supported by the phone.

       @ariadne I think a lot of it is permission prompt fatigue. You either run the tool in an "present so many permission prompts the user stops reading them" mode, or run in the "say yes to everything" mode.It works for transferring blame from the creators of the tool, but doesn't really help with the user making informed decisions.
