       @fdroidorg Is there a app permission area in the app details? It was not there in the last beta version I tested. Search was also worse than before (in the stable version).

       @fdroidorg It is a big security issue. The list of permissions required by the app are really useful to decide whether or not I install an app from an unknown developer. Some permissions are not manageable through Android settings but users need to be aware of them (Autostart, foreground service...). You can't consider F-Droid 2 is ready for a stable release without this.

       @fdroidorg What??? The problem is not that I don't want the app to function. The problem is that I need to know what the app is going to do on my phone before installing it. If a simple utility ask to much permission, permissions that it shouldn't use or permissions that may make my phone slower (autostart, background...), I am going to search for an alternative.

       @fdroidorg It is not only about safety. It is also about usability. For exemple, some permission allow the app to use more battery (autostart, background).

       @thelinuxEXPFlatpak IS slower than native apps. There is no debate: I develop an app that is distributed on Flatpak. When I run it on my (old and slow) computer the app opens instantly (at least in less than 1s). When I run the Flatpak, it takes 20s to open. The app is the same and it is a really basic app nothing complex or slow.(1/3)
