it disheartens me when entities seemingly do not want to remove oppression but rather to become the oppressorsit is a death spiral of hypocrisy to be saying things like “kill all men” “kill all cishets” “kill all neurotypicals”. instead of that, let your takeaway be that it is never okay to be violent or abusive towards someone simply because they were born with a “wrong” kind of brain or body, which is never a choice.abuse does not magically become okay if its you doing it, i cant believe i have to even bring this up,,,

@star @Cyborus fair enough, it would be good to have more transparency towards the rest of the public though. when u want to know whats going on within the project and all you get is radio silence + “become a member or too bad” thats a little disheartening

@star @Cyborus natural complete transparency is how projects in the FOSS space are held grounded and accountable and to be intentionally withholding that does not feel right of course discussions being misinterpreted and stirring up unnessesary drama is a valid concern but denying transparency with that as the reason is adjacent in spirit to “if we make our project open source, someone might fork it! the horror!”. like, its kinda just par for the course, something u deal with that keeps u in check and away from becoming detached from the community
