       @navi @fiore @shrew i don't understand why a document format should be coupled to a transport mechanism. gemini and html both act like hypertext isn't just text. why are we stuck with the incentive model andreesen and netscape made. hypertext is a product namereliable message transfer is solvable and interesting with no new cryptoddos-immune anonymity is solvable and interesting with some new cryptothese problems are ill-formed because they were piled on top of each other like stalagmites for corporate profit. every single technical decision made in the history of the internet was the wrong one. i agree regarding HTTP. but the rot drips through IP.i think this is my templeos calling me. the APIs can all fit within my tiny brain. so maybe i should steel myself to beginoh. reliable message transfer obsoletes activitypuboh. i should draw out my ontology now. maybe i can ask you to critiqueit makes me excited to see your dissatisfaction. i don't know why, but it gives me hope

       @sillyCoelophysis this is gonna sound really aggressive but with all due respect this approach really didn't work for rust or nix and instead served as a convenient cover as they were progressively overtaken by what are more or less actual fascists. the inclusiveness i wanna see is accepting black people i think that has to be a fundamental thesis and that's the point where everyone agrees rust was clearly not an inclusive place anymore
