@fdroidorg i don't know if i'm alone, but is it possible for the app to stop automatically add new mirror, (or at least maintain them disabled ?I select one in the EU, yet sadly i often see new mirror enabled by default, making the app violate my explicit intent of selecting a specific mirror.Thanks in advance for any tips if i missed a settings to allow this.

@gamingonlinux what is annoying as hell it's hard to know if you are fixed or not.Copy fail they mention a freacking commit number (people not well versed on git will never know if they are fixed or not).And many tool (cachyos for instance) have little to no security page to even know what CVE is fixed or not.Linux need to do better on this point.

@internetarchive @brewsterkahle It seem that many website also have protection against you in fear of "using you to bypass their paywall" cannot you have a "deal" with them that delay any archive from them behing published 6 month ?So they have their "loophole" closed, but you still have the archive ?

@delta There is two thing i still find annoying, it's the fact we still cannot hide the "menu" toolbar on desktop version (linux).And a quite "difficult" documentation for hosting a relay, i hosted many service over the years, but the documentation of delta relay made me scratch my head, and where i had to reread multiple time the doc (it touch of smtp etc so it's "logic" but having an easier documentation would be welcome for this purpose 👍

one "maybe stupid" question @delta is it planned to support jxl (jpegXL), at minimum for the "background" image of the app (you know the one only us see).i think you might not support it more without risk of breaking it for some user that do not rely on your app, but support it for the image only the user see can be a good idea for the implementation of it.edit : maybe add the support for "read" jxl on profile, but still requier jpeg or png, so if another app add it and break compatibility your app will display it, but will not breaking it itself by requiring jpg,...#jpegxl #deltachat

@eff people that actually need an extreme protection already have stopped to use cell network (and use a dumbphone with hotspot for emergency need (in a faraday bag if the security model is the highest)).It's like for privacy, at some point trying to fix the unfixable is loosing energy

@delta one feature that could be nice it's a sort of feedback on witch user know witch relay.When we change relay we don't really have a proper feedback on witch user know us on witch relay (so it's more difficult to decide when we can remove a relay).

@9to5linux while it's sad to see so much thing relying on systemd.It's not surprising, as it effectively easier to manage than some other alternative.Remain sad tough.Disclaimer : i do use systemd myself.
