       Today, the photos from the Artemis II lunar flyby reached us and have been shared widely. Photos like this one, of the majestic blue marble setting behind the gray lifeless moon.It shows a glimpse of beauty and provides perspective, but also speaks of technological prowess.Yet what is more, what I think the real reason is why these pictures resonate so strongly with most of us right now, is the idea of putting 7.35 × 10²² kg of solid rock between oneself and *wide sweeping gesture* all this.

       Ok, fellow hackers, I propose a pact: That new EU age verification app thingy ... do NOT help improve it.Don't publish findings. Don't responsibly disclose insecurities. Don't facilitate them making it bulletproof.If personal data is directly at risk, by all means, slam their asses into the ground. GDPR them into oblivion.But on its core functionality this needs to be, to become, and to stay, the most insecure, the most easily circumventable piece of shit code on the planet.

       @ariadne So, what you're saying is, I should have one global `uint8_t *memory = malloc(LARGE_NUMBER)` and then one subroutine uses  memory[0x1000] and up, and another uses memory[0x2000] and up, etc, yes?Because, I've seen projects that work that way. In Perl, but still ;)
