       @lain Rest assure, that if the world, in its imbecillity would ever agree to that, the 2 million would quickly increase, Iran would wield nukes and the entire region would be destabilized. The key focus should instead be to remove all taxes on oil and gasoline. Tihs would be very benficial for the common man, therefore the politicians will of course never do it.

       @jeffcliff Very much true. I think self-defense is necessary, but military in the modern sense, is a huge drain on the economy and basically just a welfare program for people who are not so intelligent. I'd much prefer a gun in every home and guerilla warfare if someone attacks, or the wonders of the threat of nuclear bombs, biological warfare, or blackmailing the leaders of the invading nation (if you have something to blackmail with). Military in and of itself, is one of the most revolting

       @jeffcliff examples of the state and should ideally be forbidden. The state instantly turns it against its own (yes I cound the police as well) to benefit its political class.

       The https://ladybird.org/ browser alternative to FF is so close to being usable! I tried the latest appimage today, and for text/images it's great. The only thing that was lacking was good ad blocking and youtube videos were a bit laggy. I suspect, but do not know, that if I would compile ladybird natively for my linux the lagging would disappear when watching videos. The amount of progress they made the past year is amazing!

       @Dan_Ramos @DrChris If you are eating, please shut off the camera. It is not so interesting to sit and watch another persons zoomed in face when they are stuffing themselves with food. Someone having a sip of coffee on camera I have less of a problem with.

       @Dan_Ramos Well, let me balance the view a bit. In many companies the leadership is so clueless and inept that for some reason they love the stuff. So they go all in. Employees hate it, but the leaders love it, so it stays.
