       @quad a while ago I bought Minisforum MS-R1 which is my workstation computer now, but I cannot get either NPU or GPU running on any kernel, so Im stuck with software rendering to a 1920x1080 uefi framebuffer. it works for programming tho, and youtube manages to play back smoothly.

       @quad yep, sadly I found out about it after I got mine. There supposedly is some image from Minisforum where everything works™ but I havent had the time to study what they changed or to even boot it up :(

       @quad I think I did that, I've got the cix kernel loaded from https://github.com/Sky1-Linux/linux-sky1?tab=readme-ov-file but it boots to a black screen. I think the ACPI tables are fucked in my machine, so updating the UEFI is a good call since other users reported that kernel works fine on their machines
