       @pfm@edolas.world Human nature. I can't tell you how many times I'd make a recommendation to management (or even my peers) and they would all be dismissed or ignored.But the moment a consultant or a vendor makes those exact same suggestions to those exact same people, word-for-word, verbatim, and each and every one of them will not only agree that something needs to be done, but they will champion and support the efforts too.At first I found it very frustrating, but towards the end I didn't give a fuck.
