And even in the past the best way has been to email them directly with your inquiry "I need a signal generator that can do this, preferably cheap. What do you have?"

       @azonenberg I bring in my own RF power meter all the time, because that's the one I actually trust.It helps that it's a nice, modern Anritsu unit.

       @azonenberg Type N is good for the lower bands. Nice and robust.I do have both a diode and thermal head for the 'ritsu as well.Diode for sensitivity, thermal for wideband and modulation insensitivity.

       @azonenberg I was thinking in the connector saver and N being more mechanically robust when a faulty SMA with a protruding pin gets screwed into the adapter.But knowing you those DUT's and cables get gaged anyway.

       @azonenberg The tartarate might form some complexes with other stuff, scavenging it and preventing it from dropping out of solution.But outside of silver chloride that sounds like stuff I can get at the supermarket or health food store.Thanks for bringing this to my attention.All silver plating of PCB's that don't use cyanides is a treat to come across.

       @azonenberg @whitequark @pikhq It just depends on what "review" is.Is it actual review, or what that one msft dude was hiring people in his AI powered C/C++ to Rust conversion to do, which was "review" around 100kLOC (IIRC) a day.
