       I have returned to Fedi to make a big announcement:On the early morning of February 10th, 2026, I scored 1,123,300 points on Donkey Kong, which puts me at 19th place in the world (at the time of typing this), and improves on my previous PB of 1,032,100 by 91,200!!! This is my greatest gaming accomplishment, and was the culmination of thousands upon thousands of hours of practice, watching others play the game, and doing my own attempts on and off over the span of around eight and a half years. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in video games, and the joy and excitement and satisfaction I feel from having finally gotten this score are indescribable. It was a fun (if occasionally frustrating) journey, and I won’t say I’m permanently retired from this game, but at least for now, I am done with this particular version of it (US set 1).www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVLSuZpq2d4

       Second new arcade achievement of 2026: A Sega Tetris score and lines maxout! This version of Tetris is easily the best of its era, being one of the first (if not, the first) to feature mechanics that greatly add to piece manueverability, such as lock delay, fast DAS, and entry delay. However, this version was exclusive to Japan until 2019, which is a real shame since this game's great, and I think more people should play it.
