@fribbledom I know that each of us is differentand i know that i am very wierd, cause I don't own a smartphonebut, in general, on avg, software in 2026 is way way better then software in 2010that is my experience

@stux I honestly don't get thisis it a joke ? or serious ?if you think the past was better, try walking around all day carrying 4 devices that collectively weigh a ton and don't fit in your pocketsin the past, as shown by this picture, I had to carry around 4 seperate thingsI had to pay for each oneI had to keep each one updatedI had to learn the seperate, and usually poor GUI/UX on each oneI had huge problems transferring informationNow, I just have to carry one devicethat is incredible progress

@dangillmor Dan, I am sorry, but it is the year 2026If you don't have a local (physical) backup copy of your data, and your cloud data is lost, taht is on youreally: backing up data to a local physical object is like brushing your teeth; you don't have to do it, but if you have cavities it might well be your fault
