       @a1ba Yeah! For now we read an optional light_color (and ligh_style) from the decl that gets sent so a video can at least pick a mood (or override it, bam futureproof!!!)

       @AminiAllight @autumn there was nasty behaviour on freedesktop's tracker about all this. ironically coming from one redhat dev (cough) that's in the news again for different reasons. timing! (someone might still be upset over this, tread carefully)
