       I find myself on the market for a new phone. I also find myself at point where I can #deGoogle at an increased speed. My #AskFedi question, importantly, with this caveat: I'm NOT a programmer and have no affinity with 'computer touching' outside my digital sovereignty.If I want to go #FairPhone 6 with #Murene ICM with an acct with #ProtonMail , which frequently used apps might I run into trouble with?        So I bit the fairly expensive bullet, bought a #fairphone6 and a #protonmail subscription, bought a domain to prevent mail provider lock-in, and am waiting until it goes live or whatever that is called, then I'll change the proton email mask or whatever that's called, and I'll wait until my p is 0Fairphone with #murenaos arrives.My god this #DeGoogling is a lot of technical effort and also very middle-class, but when I've got all this set up, I'll have some of my #DigitalSovereignty back!

My students have tried handing in slop assignments, sometimes with some added spelling errors or rewriting intro and conclusion, to review and they are amazed at me being 100℅ able to spot it.It's simple: I am not going to waste my time on stuff no human has written.

       Holy shit, my people, I accidentally blocked Mastodon.Social because of some insalubrious individual there, apparently. Apparently, a big misclick that caused me issues for months. And since that  I've been struggling to tag mutuals from there, or to even see people's content. Apparently the Fediverse works lol. Hope I didn't unfollow any of you
