       @phoronix The worst part is that these so-called AI features might not actually be LLMs. They might be genuinely useful machine learning models that are getting undersold by the AI name.They seem to be doing the same mistake that Mozilla did. Mozilla has some genuinely useful machine learning models, such as for translation and classifying tabs groups and whatnot. But because they lumped it with the AI name, the feature is treated like the llms. When will these companies learn that for a privacy centric audience the term machine learning is far more valuable than the nebulous AI? Why do most install Firefox, similarly, why do most go to Ubuntu from Windows nowadays?Of course, I could be entirely wrong and these are actually chatbots. In which case, Ubuntu deserves whatever the result of this is.
