       @ariadne Yeah, nobody will admit to it, but my impression of early 2010s hip webdev was to write as little code as possible yourself. Check npm, check SO, scour the rest of google, then if you reeeaaally have to hobble something together yourself.

       As I start using a crate to convert html to markdown, it seems good to call out that under the hood it's using html5ever which is made by the #servo project.A lot of people probably think of servo as a browser that isn't ready yet, but they are already delivering components that get used.

       @ariadne I suspect the devrel part is why dell is so interested. They know that no matter how good their hardware is they can't compete with apple for developers as long as their machines are windows-centric.

       @ariadne Yeah, Dario is already on record complaining about how volatile it is provisioning the next year's compute budget. Too little and your company dies, too much and your company and possibly also the US economy also dies. I do feel like this must've been in the back of his mind at least somewhat as he started this most recent PR blitz.
