Why does a lot of newer utilities just read stdin and discard the data when starting/exiting?I've seen many tools that discard the stdin just before exiting, even when the program is basically non-interactive.Now I noticed that adb shell discards the stdin just before starting the shell.

@brettm@swarm.coiloptic.org But they even don't have to read anything from the stdin or touch FD zero in any way! Some programs just read stdin to discard the data.
