       @eff @davidgreene when a politician says the reason for XYZ is "save the children", the immediate response should be to assess whether the reason was put forward in bad faith.  THE FIRST THING.This may change when enough bought politicians have been removed from office; for now its a pretty good guideline imho.

       #auspost #melbourne Auspost has once again said a delivery is at the local post office because "safe place not suitable".  I was WFH and didn't even get a knock / delivery attempt.To be fair this only occurs once in a while.Not sure should whether I should1. Complain b/c this shouldn't be happeningor2. Not complain because postie is possibly under impossible KPIsor3. Passive aggressively put a sign on the door saying "Please knock for delivery"

       @davidrevoy[edited because storytelling is hard  :(  ]When I played Moria a long time ago, I distinctly remember selling unidentified items to shopkeepers for ridiculously small sums.  Shopkeeper would occasionally identify a cursed item and yell at me.  Those were joyous moments of schadenfreude.

       @dangillmor the next administration, if there will be such a thing, will need to display competence in handling multiple concurrent prosecutions. As in putting a lot of rich (and predominantly old, white, male & Republican) people in jail.And seizing illegally obtained assets.
