@neauoire Well, I will say it's fun to hack on. I imagine it's not very performant for large codebases (because it has to backtrack to match keywords/directives), but... who cares?! :DI added two CMOS opcodes I used in my Hello World example. Now it fails the same way as the old code :D. I'll add the other opcodes as I use them.

@linear I have a stalled project (what else is new?) to offload TLS calculations to some sort of accelerator on the parallel port. Sadly probably requires a battery :(.

#lazyweb Please boost for the OS/2 enthusiasts... I have a copy of the Hobbes Archive just before it shut down. I believe I downloaded straight from NSMU after they froze it.Are the Hobbes mirrors reasonably healthy nowadays? If so, I think it probably makes sense to get rid of my copy (extracted tarball).

Alright, looks like my copy is ultimately identical to the Internet Archive torrent. So I'm doing my due diligence and seeding that for a while. At which point, I'll delete my local copy.

@ariadne I'm surprised James Stobie- hobo vlogger who sadly died in 2017- didn't get into that much trouble. He had a master key to BNSF trains and would make vids of him riding in the DPUs lmao.

@catalina I've personally had to fallback to ZFS snapshots and relying on block dedup/copy-on-write. I haven't managed to remove rsync from the equation yet, but at least I can pin that.

@ariadne Will take a look. I've heard of a few PS1 CPU bugs where certain insns interact rather badly with the load delay slot. But since the CPU doesn't go into the weeds in your case, guessing this is not one of those bugs I previously heard about.
