       @ariadne it was storming like crazy yesterday and I only heard about it (the game) once folks were taking shelter in the stadium. I’ve rewatched the highlights and still have no clue what meta was going on between the teams / how that kind of thing happens.

       @ariadne with the general populace lacking defensive driving skills / can barely handle emergency situations, a car just sounds like a liability. Hours in a traffic jam sounds like a death trap. If it’s an ICE-powered car I would suspect a lot of oil infrastructure also crumbling apart. Electric would be workable though. But honestly an ebike (and related) is gonna be hugely more useful. Fallout alone though is gonna be a problem. I don’t like any of these odds.

       @ariadne I’m afraid of the upcoming withdrawal period once the LLM companies go under (or are priced prohibitively) and the public / masses enter some mass hysteria after having to think themselves for once or experience anything else once again beyond their glorified word calculator. The sooner this bandaid gets ripped off, the better.
