       @LukeAlmighty Disney's mismanagement of Star Wars really ought to be studied formally. They fumbled the sequel trilogy so bad that its stink even affects the "good" spin-offs, simply because plot points like the First Order and how they blindside the New Republic are like cancerous black holes that only be avoided for so long.

That's the real evil of the political push for digital ID and age-gating: it's just the logical extension of the easy tech solutions that most have already been browbeaten into buying into.
