The first game I accidently picked Alex and couldn't switch off of him because I kept winning despite me literally having never picked him before. There was also another game where I just repeatedly clicking only 2HK whenever I just felt like it would maybe counter hit something and it worked somehow???

I wish SteamOS had better multi user support. I wouldn't mind lending it to people I live with now that I have my Ayn Thor but I don't feel comfortable having them use the same pin that I use to get into my account and I don't feel comfortable with them having full access to desktop mode.

I set up a child account in my Steam family to lock it down a bit with parental controls for other people like when I'm taking it to FGC stuff. It would be enough that I think I'd be comfortable leaving it with other people but you can't set separate pins for other users and iirc they can just change users without one.I guess I could just log out but this is very inconvenient.

I know Kris is not supposed to be a player self-insert but I do feel like they're weirdly relatable. They act a lot like I did as a teenager and I also feel like I'm being piloted by someone who always picks the wrong dialog option all the time.

I had to switch back to i3 because games really didn't like Sway and Gamescope was acting abnormally on my install. It's a shame because this was the first time I was actually able to enjoy and get the hang of it :neocat_pensive:I just got to accept that I'm stuck on x11 forever

I doubt this is really going to work at higher levels but in ranked I've been using purple roman cancels to open up opponents and I'm surprised on how well it's working. Sometimes I'll do shit like throw out a Winter Mantis in neutral when it makes no sense to just for the opponent to think they can IAD in only for me to RC into an anti-air. Idk why it keeps working :neocat_woozy:

I was feeling really bad due to the heat and one of the drugstores on the way home had a place to sit after you were done shopping so I figured I'd like grab a drink and chill to cool down. Avatar Legends is really fun but everything around the game feels very very unfinished. Personally I'd be able to look past most of it but I really strongly feel like they should have been honest and just released it in Early Access, because that's really what state it's in.

That gen 1 recomp thing floating around looks kinda neat but I'm really sick of playing Kanto based games. I get why it's the first game that got this treatment but I really wish it was literally any other game in the series :arai_sad:

I actually think that with how hardware prices are spiking now we might actually see a much larger adoption of mobile gaming. Unless we start seeing some relief soon stuff, GameHub and GameNative might actually be the future of PC gaming since it will only make sense for normal people to pool up their money to get a nice phone rather than buy a separate gaming machine. Before Proton adoption was kinda laughable because desktop Linux is a small market but I now genuinely think purposely fucking up Proton compatibility is actually shooting yourself in the foot and this is a war that Valve already won by accident by just keeping an open mind and trying to make a overpriced VR headset that nobody will buy (I assume). :neocat_woozy:

Maybe I'm putting too much faith in those people that download emulators to play pokemon blue on their phones to use PC emulators but even if that's too much, like Valve could probably just release an app themselves. Though I think maybe the thing that might throw a wrench in all of this is the restrictions on sideloading that Google is now pushing. :neocat_glare:
