       Alright Mastodon, I need help.I might be forced to hire an "automation engineer" (which I'm not opposed to), and am doing my damnedest not to hire an "ai engineer" (which I am very much opposed to).What questions should I ask in an interview to make sure someone knows what they're doing and won't just vibecode?        @fdroidorg That is easy to say, and obviously my frustration. But people are free to make their own choices and whether or not someone chooses to take that extra (I agree, not necessarily difficult) effort is not reason enough to either say you love them or you are cutting yourselves off from each other's lives.I use your service happily and enthusiastically but this is an unhelpful comment.

       @fdroidorg Honestly not sure if you meant it this way, but in case you didn't, this still sounds shitty and isn't going to win many converts.If you want to remain small and niche and limited to a select few users, go ahead and be flip. But if you truly want to convince people, this approach will not go far.
