       @libreoffice  From this slide, one may get the impression that this lock-in problem is limited to "FLOSS"  (an unknown acronym to your intended audience), while it, indeed affects everyone, "FLOSS" or not.

       @libreoffice It's too bad that no official vendors even bothered to sell LibreOffice as a commercial software package, despite its maturity. The corporate world simply don't easily allow to spend the IT/software budgets on "donations"

Are there ?This page is indeed available for years, used to be mentioned in every LibreOffice release PR, and pointed out every time the topic is raised.But it is about "customizing" the office suite - I am not even sure what kind of customers needs a customized office suite in this era, likely very few.OTOH, the page does not contains any concrete commercial offer for an Office suite. Thus, within a real-world IT budget constraint, competitors are much easier to buy.

       Key takeaway of the blog:- Most of the vendors (including European) organized around OOXML or on making OOXML looks right.- Most office suites handle ODF badly; ODF had deliberate underinvestment- European "Public" body should somehow be requested to care about their software’s "internal model"To most readers, that may sound overwhelmingly in favor of OOXML. Why not spin it more positively ? like "Why ODT is an excellent choice for your long term archiving needs - Private or Public ?"
