       @stellarskylark Yeah I played through to Space yesterday in 6 hours, it's fun even though it's extremely on-rails and not a remotely accurate depiction of any of the things it's depicting.

       @stellarskylark Absolutely yes. I have hyped Thrive on here a few times. Of course, Thrive will have more stages than Spore, so Microbe being complete doesn't mean quite the same as what Cell being complete would for a direct Spore clone. Plus with its far higher realism and slow development pace, it's probably best for right now to pitch Thrive mostly as "a game about cellular biology."

       @stellarskylark I'm very satisfied by the run animation the game decided on for them, it's kind of chaotic and nothing seems to be in sync with anything else which is exactly what I'd expect from six legs and two arms at that scale.

       @stellarskylark Well they use server-side rendering for new sessions I think so presumably that's why new tab is fast. As for why navigations are slow. Well that's a great demonstration of the Single Page App Ethos.
