       @lumi So I've been on this particular soap box for a bit, so excuse my mini rant, but..."Open Source" is directly part of this. When that split off from the Free Software movement, they used to explain the reasoning behind it with slogans like "businesses don't care about freedom". Abandoning ideas around rights and freedom and focusing on free labor and publicity was *always* the point.

       @fdroidorg The second half of this statement:"We encourage our contributors to disclose whether a contribution was made with AI assistance, but do not require them to do so."So we don't know what changes are slop and which are not. And nobody knows which parts are stolen or which parts retain copyright protection...
