Don't you love bureaucrats.Here's a low that prohebits you from mass requesting data that is none of your business.But someone could maybe abuse the system and the only way we mayby possible could know is by looking at the data we can't mass request. 🤔Oh well we just ask for the numers we need to know and when we get 'em we just demand the paperwork that shows where the number comes from so we turn it into a "individual" case.And we do that every time.Just a lot of Individual cases.

@lanodan @js @bagder @ariadne it exists so people can learn not to use in production 🤷🏿♀️Frankly was a good bit of fun watching Chi running through the steps and seeing their understanding grow with each step. Also made the train ride from Milan to Zurich pass really fast.

@q66 many of 'em see themselves as kinda "incubators" that get a project started base on (fame, reputation, hype etc) and never had any interrest to meaningfully contribute to it in the long run.Of course a lot of those projects end up failing because when the "celeb" walks away so do those that only joined up because of parasocial shit.

@lanodan @nixCraft as I see it either I can do whatever the fuck I want with my device. That includes full repairability and full software stavck including sources and I have to suffer the consequences of me fucking up or I get a fully closed black box that I don't own and have exactly zero responsibilities and the company who owns that thing has to compensate me for the fallout.But what we get is some intransparent garbage with some parts being free. They sell it tou you. Force utter braindead limitations (Banking Apss) and when they fail you because they stopped support ar do any other corpo asshat thing you are left holding the bag and pay out of pocket for the fallout.
