@eff I'm beginning to think this is not about young people and their safety, and more about control and setting up for a conservative rightwing future.What does social media and networking provide?Diverse range of views empowering democracy to push for things that benefit the people. What did the rightwing parties have 20-30 years ago?Control through mainstream media. They are assuming people will return to their trusted news source, Sky News, to misinform the public to destroy democracy.

@ZySoua Problem I see is the incentive to recycle is not proportional, and seems negligable, compared to the cost of doing anything. It's more a cost, but a reduced cost, to recycle.Whereas, Woolies and Coles, etc., wouldn't even participate if they weren't making a pretty dime from it. Since they scam us anyway, I see little reason to care about them.

@Stellar I was sick on hearing it because it was adopted as a buzz word for people to sell products ("don't just regular finish, quantum finish" or a mechanics business called "the quantum mechanic"), or as a buzz word to palm off explaining real science in fictitious movies / shows -- whether sci-fi or fantasy (whatever Marvel counts as).

@eff @evacide @19thnews This has started in the western part of my country. I'm hoping the massive Royal Commission into AI uncovers and removes AI from all spheres of life. Rebooting a fairer, less stalker, spying legal system, and just improving social sphere's in general.
