       @dangillmor There are two aspects here: 1. "purely private". Who is the donor? 2. The government could introduce a tax for "private gifts" and also consider it to be "money-laundering" .

       @libreoffice I use it since I am on Linux Cinnamon. However, I am still struggle to maneuver around. I have to always open a file to get around. Unlike MS Office, its not straight forward. Congrats on the new LibreOffice website. I visited it.
