       They’ve been so full of shit about vaccine risks for over a hundred years. Lying with statistics. They’ll tell you the likelihood of any specific side effect is very small; but they don’t tell you the probabilities are cumulative — such that the likelihood of problems in general are shockingly high.

       I get the basic immunological premise, there; I just think tetanus specifically has been shrouded in massive horseshit for reasons not entirely clear - though I imagine power and profit have something to do with it.

       It’s my understanding that tetanus is actually literally linked with horse manure; ie traditionally it was thought of as a horse disease. The rusty nail thing is a more modern add-on

       I don’t think I have that MTHFR thing, but one time I cleared up a long-standing brain fog by drinking a half tbsp of iodized salt in water. That was intense - like jumping 5 IQ points all at once

       My great-grandpa (the town machinist one) occasionally had shingles flare-ups, all along a side (don’t remember left or right). I never saw it, but I heard about it - and it’s where I learned prolonged stress and misery were triggers for it. Pretty sure the devil invented it as a way to get people mad at God for creating them - like from the Book of Job.

       I’ll probably end up throwing one together with a little recess for my butter dish, and a little knife holder thing one of these days. It’s not a super high priority but counter space definitely comes at a premium here
